Raziel quickly ran toward Amanda and said, "Hmph it's only Charliase."

 

"Don't talk that way to me." Charliase sneered at Raziel, "Finally, I find a real demon." She took out her blade and she went right into Amanda's face. "So shall we have a proper match?" She had a smug look on her face and did a round of backflips to give herself more space...

 

"You will do nothing of the sort." Raziel said with anger."Why would you want to do that?"

 

Athena followed Roneri and asked, "What is it?"
She saw Amanda and Raziel run towards an alley and said, "Good, Raziel can keep an eye on her. Now what do you need to talk with me about.... and why a child?"

 

Roneri sighed and looked at Athena, annoyed.
"Look," she pulled Athena to the side, "That blood I gave you won't keep you going for long." She took a step back, "The blood of a vampire doesn't keep another vampire alive. You need human blood. And a catch that even you would be able to hold down while feeding. Understand?" She asked, glaring.

 

Felicia moved out of the copy's way just in time, then said, "Madera marina." This spell caused the wood to be soaked with water. She made as if to swing at the copy, but at the last minute turned to attack Setsaki.

 

Setsaki clasped his hands, but pointed only his right index finger and left ring finger upwards. "Ignis, Fulmen, Anima, Aqualis, Humus, Lux, Ater!" With that, he pulled out a spell card with a pentagram on it and it lit on fire, was surrounded by lightning, froze, engulfed in wind, covered in rocks, one end lit up extremly bright, and then other dimmed extremly dull.

He threw the spell card towards Felicia's attack, and it formed a pentagram in mid air that swallowed up the attack. It formed back into a spell, then into a sword, still with all of the attachments, but half the blade was black, and half was white, and it lauched at Felicia.

 

"Not a child... I won't feed off of a child...." Athena whispered.

<Leon, where are you... are you okay? Please come back to me.> Athena thought to Leon, <Please... come back.>

*Reina*
Reina finished her training then began to look for Setsaski and tried some doors. She opened one and fell right into the middle of their training session.

 

Darius was concentrating on the fire he was creating but before he could start a true inferno, Vincent asked, "Wait, who exactly are we dealing with inside? I sense they have much strength, not that it's any problem for me. I'm just curious."

"I had sensed Athena's sister, as well as an old enemy, Setsaki. There is another that I have yet to have had the pleasure of meeting. But I can't sense them. It's almost as if they've disappeared." Darius was once again frustrated by the vampiric inability to enter a home uninvited. "Leon, search the house for them. Why don't you see if the young hostess would like a houseguest?"

"While we wait, perhaps we should catch up; what have you done with your hair, I love it."

Leon had gained some control of his motor skills and self, but he continued to keep up his facade. He walked up to the door and broke the lock, opening it easily and entering.

"Reina...?" he called out cautiously.

 

*Reina*
"Reina..." Leon had said.

Reina looked up and got to her feet and said, "I think someone has just entered your home, Setsaski... should we go and deal with it..." Reina then realized it was Leon and said, "It's Leon...why isn't Athena with him...."

She then turned and said, "I'm going to go see what he wants... and then... I don't know what I'll do... I think I've come to hate him."

*Athena*
Athena waited for Roneri's response as she watched Amanda and the other two. She sent another thought to Leon, <Leon...please, let me know that you are alright at least.>

 

Amanda looked to Charliase and took the dagger out of her belt, "I will not fight you, you are not a concern right now." Amanda sneered to Charliase. "There is more for me to worry about right now then a..." Amanda stopped and looked around. She held the dagger by the gold handle and walked away from Charliase and moved closer to Raziel. "How many vamp hunters are there?" Amanda said as she put the dagger away... careful not to handle the silver blade. "Is this all the vampires?"

Leon heard Athena's thought, and forced himself to respond. <I'm - I'm going to save Reina. I don't know what Darius wants to do, but I know that it wouldn't keep her healthy for very long...Athena, I don't know how much control I have, but I still have to pretend that I don't have any. Whatever I do...or say...Trust me.>

He approached Reina. He didn't know how to tell her what he had just told Athena. "Reina...can you come here?"

 

*Athena*
<I trust you Leon.> Athena thought, while she waited patiently for Roneri's answer.

*Reina*

Reina took a step closer to Leon and said, "I'll only come with you, or get any closer to you, if you tell me one thing. Do you really care about my sister or are you just like all the other vamps and only care for her when it's convenient? I may not have seen my sister for awhile but I know her well enough to know that she is completely falling for you and you don't show someone that you care about them by joining the other side that you were going to fight... it doesn't work like that, Leon... Well... let's ask my brother what we should do...because frankly... he's done a better job of controlling himself then you have and he's still fighting against Darius." Then Reina shouted, "Setsaski, Felicia, Leon's here to see us!"

 

Roneri looked at her, "If you want to live to see your boyfriend again you will. I'll make you if I have to." She said. She looked around and nodded to herself.
"Come on. It's time to go."
She took hold of Athena's wrist and began to walk along.
"You must learn that some things have to be done to survive now, Athena. They may not be fun but they're a necessity."

Leon felt anger well up in him at Reina's words. But he couldn't say anything...could he? He decided that he didn't want Reina to think he was weak, or a coward.

"Reina," he began quietly. "Do you know how old I am? Do you know how much I've been through? The things that I've done do not compare to the crimes of others. The things that Setsaki has been through cannot compare to my trials. I have always tried to remain as a good person. Your words injure me, Reina."

He swallowed unecessarily and continued. "Your sister means so much to me, Reina. And I have continued to fight Darius to the best of my ability. Reina, can't you see? Your so-called brother has done no more than me. But Reina, I have to keep up the act. To save you...to save everyone, to end Darius' corrupt reign. Will you trust me?"

His heart emptied, he stared steadily at Reina, awaiting her response.

 

"Just curious... but are you after my blood or not? It seems that you look quite unfed." Charliase had a huge look of curiosity on her big bold eyes, "If you are in fact here to drag me into your little game, I'm no use to you, you would receive no gratification or even gain fullness in your body from taking any sips." She looked a bit taken back. "I dare you to," She exposed her shoulder "Try me." Charliase gave a wicked grin.

 

Felicia cast her shield spell again just before Setsaki's spell hit her, but even then, as it was a strong spell, she nearly stumbled. Reina entered, talked about an intruder, then left to talk to him. This worried the priestess, and she immediately left the arena's protection. Setting the staff on the ground, she said, concerned but collected, "Do you know this Leon person? Will she be safe? We should go--"

Then Reina shouted, "Setsaski, Felicia, Leon's here to see us!"

Felicia sensed no imminent danger from within the house, so she turned to face her host and await his decision.

 

*Athena*
Athena looked at Roneri and sighed and said, "I suppose I must... but I won't harm a child."
She then paused and asked, "Shouldn't we wait for Raziel and Amanda and possibly Raziel's friend?"

*Reina*
Reina looked at Leon and saw he was telling the truth and immediately felt bad about her words and ran to him and gave him a hug and said, "I'm sorry, I trust you... I just got so angry..."

 

"There are about 5 I think." Raziel jumped in the air to find some food.
