Felicia followed Setsaki and Reina through the city until they were at the girl's house. She waited, breathing a little heavily from the run, for Setsaki to open the door. She longed to see Reina walk into the safety of the house.

 

Amanda turned to the window and looked out to the fast paced world, making her life seem slower than it was. She looked and her only thought was of the breach of safety on her part. She felt her heart skip a beat when she turned around to the feeling of a chill on her neck. "Well?" Amanda waited for the humans response. "You never told me your name."

 

"Nice job!" Kentoriken heard from behind him. He turned and looked at what was it. "Go away, now!" he shouted to the vampire behind him. "No. I won't go." Kentoriken was getting irritated.

 

Charliase started running quickly down the street. She needed to find her partner, the contents of her bag would only last for so long. She jumped up onto a trash can, and then onto a roof of a coffee shop, and took out a small amulet and a map, the amulet started to move and then stopped. Charliase took the amulet and the map and folded it back into her pocket. She jumped of the building and started running as fast as she could.

 

"Kentoriken? What kind of name is that?" the vampire mocked with a tone full of confidence. "That is none of your business. Now leave me be!" he shouted at the vampire full of fury. "Let's think... Aah, no." it said and started to take its battle position. The battle begun soon after Kentoriken had pulled Merikonu out and assumed position. The battle was very fierce. The vampire used a very sophisticated technique: first tire, then damage, then kill. Kentoriken felt in this battle that he would win... He was wrong. Kentoriken was already tired from the last battle he had fought with the vampire without any weapons... This one used a long sword, and a dagger. Kentoriken was getting tired. Merikonu was getting heavier and heavier by the minute. He felt a blow of a sword in his left arm. "I have to escape... Must not die...", his last words before he ran away from the vampire... The first one he didn't kill.

 

Charliase kept running down the street but something seemed amiss. She sniffed the air, she could remember this smell, Charliase was taken back, <It's... vampire blood...> Charliase came to discover two people fighting each other, one vampire, the other human, and one of them started to run. <This looks like fun...> Charliase started to run after the human.

 

Kentoriken heard running steps behind him. He thought it was the vampire, he was wrong. He started to run as fast as he could, but heard them still, about the same distance away as before. "Who are you?" he shouted to the person that was following him.

 

*Reina*
Reina nodded her head and said, "Don't worry, only humans can get into this house."
Reina turned to Felicia and offered her other hand.
(ooc: had to make somewhat kiddish again, she is only 10)
*Athena*
<Leon... are you okay?> Athena asked him in mind speak.
After a little while she looked to Darius and asked, "What now, Darius."
Her heart was heavy... Leon wasn't answering her, her sister and brother and another woman were safe at their old house, but she still had this sense that another battle would soon begin.

Leon felt increasingly weirder. <Yes, Athena, I'm here.> It wasn't the same as okay, exactly, but it's the only honest answer he could give. What now? What could they do?

Leon gazed upon the Vampire King...Something he should be King of, and wondered how he could end it.

 

Felicia took the proffered hand, giving the girl a smile. In Reina she saw a bright and better world for the future. She could only hope innocent blood wasn't spilt in obtaining it.

 

Setsaki nodded silently, but still kept a strong guard set up.

He thrust open the door and ran inside the house, running form room to room, looking for enemies.

About five minutes later, Setsaki appeared outside, and sheathed his sword. "Not a drop hath been spilled on this ground of good. Come in madam." He kneeled down on one knee and let Reina enter the house.

 

<So he cares to know...>
Charliase didn't slow down; she wanted the excitement, the thrill of the chase.
They came up across an alley, Charliase could see that the vampire was trembling as well.
<now this is what I want.>
"Well, hello."

 

"Who are you?" Kentoriken shouted again to his follower.

 

"La la la, I'm not telling you!" Charliase started acting child-like and started to jump, her jump reaching nearly 6 feet at its highest. "Just know that you should beware. La la la." And Charliase started hop-skipping away.

 

"I'll keep that in mind..." Kentoriken said to himself. The vampire that had originally driven him away was following him. Kentoriken pulled Merikonu out of its sheath, and assumed position. He was very pissed off. "Death awaits you!" he shouted, and started running towards the vampire. The vampire had not thought of this and had sheathed its sword and dagger, for it had planned of sucking the blood out of Kentoriken. Kentoriken, full of rage, had gotten to the attack range of his especially long sword, and pierced the vampires heart. "Got you." he said, victorious.

 

Finally back...

The cloaked man looked around for a moment, unsure what to say to this half-vampire. He put his dark goggles back on his face, suddenly feeling far more at home, he spoke,"My name is irrelevent." He sighed deeply, she was new to this sort of thing, that was easy to tell.

"Your 'flock' has left, and you should join them." A part of the cloaked man wanted to stay. To talk with this beautiful creature for hours on end, but such a thing was dangerous. The two of them were of different worlds, and for as much as the man wished the worlds were friendly, they weren't. All it would take was a single agent of Darius to see them talking and report it to its master. This beautiful woman, this Amanda, would face Darius' wrath. "Its dangerous for us to be seen together."

 

The rage had gone away, and Kentoriken felt pain in his left arm. The vampire had slashed his arm with its sword. He fell down. His eyes got darker by the moment. He lost his conciousness.

Raziel wandered around the city looking for Charliase, and stumbled over a rock. He had gotten up and tried to use his phase but it failed. Raziel wondered why and remembered what that hunter did at the cafe. He walked towards the cafe's direction.

 

Amanda looked to the human and said, "You say 'flock' too loosely." She looked to see in his eyes if he meant his words but had a hard time even standing because of fatigue from the fight. She started to hear his heart loudly pumping and it grew warmer like right before she killed, but she didn't feel the urge to drink. Her eyes closed and saw the heart beat and she slowly said, "You’re not a hunter of vampires; you’re a hunter for revenge and answers, what happened?"

She heard footsteps walking closely outside interrupting his heart beat in her mind. Her eyes jerked open and she turned her head towards the noise and whispered, "Someone is coming." She turned to the human. "If you wish to live, your only chance of escaping without being sensed is if you come with me....unless you wish to risk it." She turned her back on the footsteps and looked to the human.

 

Charliase ran to a small bookstore, grabbed a certain large red volume. She closed her eyes and opened the book. She started scanning the pages and then she sat down on a large couch. Bent over her pace so no one else could see what she was doing slowly she took a small baggie out of her purse and placed it in the book.
