Debate The Banning Thread (formerly NephX's Ban)

I know I haven't been here much but...

TO ADMINs and MODS: It's best if you tell the person you're banning before you ban that person. Have that person understand that he or she is being baned. Makes this stuff a lot easyer.

To the other members: Heh... don't spam and brake the rules at your own risk.

Well if he had that many posts that got him baned then...why didn't you ban him along time ago? And please Baka show us the #1 main post that got him banned?

 

Wow, you people are persistant... I just need to remind you one thing. Matt has been the Admin here at M2A for over a year now and he has never or rarely done anything wrong in the past, or "out of a grudge" like some people are assuming. He does not get paid to do this. And I'm pretty sure that if he made the decision to ban Nephilim then it was in the interest of everyone at mangatoanime and what he thought was the best action to take.

And bothering him and flooding his PM's with flames about it will not influence the chance that he may unban Neph any, if anything it will lessen it.

 

if it was in the best interest of everyone, why are so many opposed. I would like to see at least five people reply to this that are happy he got banned.

 

Yes I know I am. I want to know why he got banned. I stick up for friends enough to get in trouble.

let me make this a little clear.

1. Baka has no proof he was bad
2. All Scotts posts were for fun. To make people happy.
3. All spam???? How can a person spam 2008 times? Wouldn't it get boring after a while?

Just leave Bakamattsu alone.He has every right to ban Neph.I agree I am not pleased to see that he has been banned,but it's not like he wasn't warned.Every time he went on a "spamming spree",although they were really funny,they did waste a lot of space.And he was warned almost every time he did so,to boot.Just because people are opposed to his decision doesn't make it wrong.Al Cappone could have been the nicest guy in the world with a hundred friends that didn't want him to go to jail,but he did some bad things.

P.S. You are all aware this guy could ban you in a second,right?Just a warning,I wouldn't do it,that's all.

 

There's a thought for the day. Ill take my chances, if i get banned ill join another forum. although i dont want to be banned, you gotta take the bad with the good.

 

if that's what neph had coming to him than it's understood. but poor neph. i'll miss him...

Just a few.Don't get me wrong,I love Neph.He was a funny guy.Just don't beat up Bakamattsu for his decision.

 

Blue Crow, do you chat? If so then you know that bloodberry is very upset that Neph got banned and said she didn't want it to happen.

When I saw "banned" under Neph's name, I thought it was just a joke or something. I mean the things he does are the things he's always done, and tehy were funny, too. I was just a bit surprised he was banned so suddenly.

But hey... even if I don't agree, the admins banned him... and if he really wanted to, he could just create another account. And it's a little ironic when there are people that have six posts that are arguing against the admin about Neph, whom they probably never knew. Though it's most likely that people just created new accounts to argue with, for fear of getting banned...

I didn't say she wanted him to be banned,but she did warn him for spamming too much.We're all upset that he's banned.And Kami,what do you mean?Who's harsh words?

 

well not quite harsh words but I mean. we seem to be complaining an awful lot. neph should have known what was coming. it's not like us doing anything about it is going to bring him back. anyway most of us who knew him are disappointed. i'll defend you two (blue crow and user18) , against DbZ Gal and naruto. I agree with you two. also, i've known you guys due to the other account ThinYume. I think that some of us should stop complaining.

 

I agree with user 18 and bc, you guys are out of line throwing accusations around like that. Besides if you guys really want the inside story why dont you just instant message him and find out for yourself. As I said I havent been on in awhile so I didnt realize things had *cough cough* gotten out of hand with his posting. After reading several of the posts he made in the noobie thread I am honestly surprised it hadnt happened sooner. Even if Neph was my luffle bunny, what he was doing was out of line and he was warned ahead of time by several of the mods. So I would advise you all to drop this arguement because you are fighting a losing battle as well as a pointless one.
